The Yummy Buffet is a chinese buffet in High Point, North Carolina. It is listed at 1112 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27265, which places it among the local businesses of High Point that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in High Point; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The Yummy Buffet at (336) 858-5038; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, instagram.com.

We sat next to employees that were having a lunch break and they were so kind to us while we were there. The food was amazing everything was so clean and fresh. It is my new favorite place to eat. The sushi is next level amazing. We went on saturday and paid 23 per person. I had fresh sushi raw seafood classic Chinese dishes, and delicious fruit for desert. You can NOT beat the price.

Our waitress was very prompt with clearing dishes and getting us refills before we actually ran out of our drinks, so absolutely no complaints that way. They have a much larger selection of sushi than most buffets, and most of it was extremely good. The few types I didn't like I think are a matter of taste preference rather than an issue with the sushi itself. One thing I didn't like was that there was no soy sauce on the tables so we had to go back to the sushi bar for more, and they only had half sized condiment cups to put it in. The chicken on a stick was seasoned and cooked well and was deserving of seconds. The crab rangoons and the dumplings were also great. The dessert cookies and cakes were delicious. They have a separate window for phö and ramen. We tried the phö and found it to be pretty spicy. The guy making them also didn't seem to speak English well and didn't make it without tendon like we had asked. Not a big deal, we just had to spend a few minutes picking it out. I would go here again and plan to try the ramen and some other dishes.

I’ve been to 10:10 Buffet in Winston plenty of times and have always loved it. But after visiting Yummy Buffet, me and my wife couldn’t help but compare the two. This place felt like a step up in every way, more aesthetically pleasing and with a whole lot more variety. Not to discount 10:10, but what Yummy Buffet did better than my previous gold standard was the freshness. Everything was constantly being made, warm, and just right. The food and the environment together made for a really wonderful experience. And the best part? The price. For the amount and quality of food you get, this place is incredibly affordable compared to other buffets out there. Highly recommend! Reviews are mine, edited by AI

I am pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food. My five kids and husband loved it. They thought the sushi was great. I thought what I had was ok. But the atmosphere was very nice. The service what amazing. The restaurant was clean and the set up for seats and the buffet tables worked well. It was my husband, myself, our 17yr old, 13yr old, 11yr old, 6yr old and 9 month old. The lady who served us our drinks said we had to pay for 6 adults. I was only confused why we were paying for an adult price for our little 6yr old (42 inches tall) and our 11 yr old (57 inches tall). All and all it was a nice restaurant for a decent price.

I am so glad there is finally a Chinese buffet back in this area since COVID! It’s such a relief not to have to drive all the way to Winston-Salem or Greensboro just to get a good buffet meal. The food is always well prepared. They have the usual stuff, but for those who are adventurous, they routinely change dishes—sometimes they even have dim sum and specialty sushi dishes, which is a nice surprise. While you shouldn't expect high-end sit-down quality for every single item, there are definitely dishes here that are actually "restaurant tasty." For an All-You-Can-Eat place, it is very decent. With everything costing so much more nowadays, this buffet has turned into a great choice because there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. It is also clean enough from a customer point of view (I know some people worry about buffet stereotypes, but we have never had an issue here). Service is great. We’ve been here at least 10 times since they opened and enjoy it every time. There usually isn't a wait unless you go on the weekend. Definitely the best bang for your buck in the area!
